BX-MTPS is a low molecular weight polystyrene resin with a single methacrylate ester end-group. This macromolecular monomer product is usually supplied in cyclohexane solution. However, it can be supplied in powder form, or dissolved in other monomers or solvents. Resin properties are those of polystyrene. Solution properties depend on the type and amount of monomer or solvent in which the resin product is dissolved. The key features and advantages: 

- Improves toughness while maintaining the termoplastic nature of the end polymer. 

- Readily copolymerisable with many other monomers. 

- Soluble in a wide range of monomers and organic solvents. 

- Increases shear strength without affecting peel strength.
