BX-DAC is used as a highly active photo-initiator in radiation curable formulations for printing plates and a variety of other coatings.It is also reported to be used in fire retardant hydrolysis resistant photopolymers, screen printable UV curable opaque legend inks, intumescent polymers, optical resins, artificial marble, forming protective skin on intricately molded product, fire retardant and antistatic films, etc.
